Finding the Bright Side
Valentine’s Day was a wash. Well, at least to the outside observer it was. It totally rained, and on our way to the restaurant we got rear ended. It was pretty bad, we missed our reservations, we got muddy and wet, and we were really bummed out. The car went straight to the shop and we had to take a cab back home. Hungry, mad and stressed out we just sat on the couch and wondered what to do. My lady’s makeup was all streaky and I could feel my eyes stinging from mine and after a minute of feeling sorry for ourselves we just busted out laughing. I mean, we both realized that we were being ridiculous. No one was to blame (well, maybe that driver who hit us) so why not just enjoy it? And enjoy it we did. Ordered a huge greasy pepperoni pizza with hot wings, beer and ice cream. Then we rented a crappy romantic comedy and just pigged out. It was great!
